Pair sought in alleged kidnapping, attempted murder of Saskatchewan woman
MONTREAL LAKE, Sask. - Police are looking for two people accused of trying to kill a 66-year-old woman in northern Saskatchewan.
RCMP say officers went to the Montreal Lake medical clinic on Monday after word of an assault.
A van in which the attack allegedly occurred and the registered owner were gone by the time they arrived.
Marina Henderson, a Montreal Lake Cree Nation resident who is the owner, was eventually located.
Kevin Brian Henderson, a 30-year-old Prince Albert man, and a 26-year-old woman, Shantel Laureen Mike of Beardy's Okemasis First Nation, are wanted on charges that include attempted murder and kidnapping.
Mounties say both may be armed and dangerous. -CP-
