Alberta Mounties investigate 3 cases of rocks thrown at cars' windshields
EDMONTON- Mounties are investigating after three vehicles driving on a highway west of Edmonton had rocks thrown at their windshields.
Jo LaFrance was driving on Highway 60 through Enoch Cree First Nation, at about 3 a.m. when a rock the size of a tennis ball hit her windshield.
Her husband, Steve LaFrance, was sleeping in the passenger seat and the impact of the rock hitting the car woke him.
He says he thought they hit a deer.
Jo stopped the vehicle, and Steve gave chase, and later found the rock that smashed their windshield.
RCMP say two other vehicles were also hit around the same time.-CP-
